The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies N. Andrews, Kenneally, Morley, C. Murphy and Woods.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1977

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1977 to 31 December 1977 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

President’s Establishment, Office of the Minister for Finance, State Laboratory, Secret Service, Miscellaneous Expenses, Agricultural Grants.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. T. F. Ó Cofaigh (Secretary, Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 11.50 a.m. until 11 a.m. tomorrow.
