1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies Belton, V. Brady, Morley and Woods.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1977

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1977 to 31 December 1977 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Comptroller and Auditor General, Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation, Tourism and Transport.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. P. L. Mac Domhnaill (Secretary and Director of Audit), Mr. A. O’Rourke (Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs), Mr. N. McMahon (Secretary, Department of Tourism and Transport) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.20 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday next.
