1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy O’Toole (in the Chair), Deputies N. Andrews, Belton, V. Brady, Morley and Woods.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1977

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 January 1977 to 31 December 1977 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Stationery Office, Charitable Donations and Bequests, Labour, Fisheries, Forestry, Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. J. F. Harman (Controller, Stationery Office), Miss A. Tormey (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. T. Ó Cearbhaill (Secretary, Department of Labour), Mr. A. W. Duggan (Secretary, Department of Fisheries and Forestry), Mr. J. F. Richardson (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 1.25 p.m. until 11.30 a.m. on Thursday next.
