1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Griffin, Mac Sharry, Moore, C. Murphy, Toal and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1973-74.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1973-74 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Law Charges, Agriculture, Fisheries.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. D. Quigley (Senior Legal Assistant, Office of the Attorney General), Mr. M. J. Barry (Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.35 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
