1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Crotty, H. Gibbons, Griffin, MacSharry, Moore, C. Murphy, Pattison, Toal and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1974

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 April 1974 to 31 December 1974 were resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—National Gallery, Office of the Minister for Education. Further consideration of the following Account was postponed:—Primary Education.

4. Witnesses Examined

Dr. J. White (Director, National Gallery), Mr. D. Ó Laoghaire (Secretary, Department of Education), Mr. C. K. McGrath (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 1.15 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
