1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Crotty, H. Gibbons, Griffin, MacSharry, Moore and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1974

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the period 1 April 1974 to 31 December 1974 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Charitable Donations and Bequests, Office of the Minister for Justice, Garda Síochána, Prisons, Courts, Land Registry and Registry of Deeds.

4. Witnesses Examined

Mr. J. S. Martin (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. A. Ward (Secretary, Department of Justice) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment

The Committee adjourned at 12.25 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
