1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy de Valera (in the Chair), Deputies Bermingham, Griffin, MacSharry, Pattison and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1971-72.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1971-72 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Charitable Donations and Bequests, Stationery Office, Valuation and Ordnance Survey, Rates on Government Property, Foreign Affairs, International Co-Operation.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. S. Martin (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. P. Mac Guill (Controller, Stationery Office), Mr. J. M. McNicholl (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. P. Keating (Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.20 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
