1. The Committee met at 11.30 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Barrett, R. Burke, Dowling, H. Gibbons, MacSharry and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1969-70.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1969-70 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, Reformatory and Industrial Schools, Universities and Colleges and Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. S. Mac Gearailt (Secretary, Dement of Education) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.
