1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Peter Barry, Briscoe, Edward Collins, FitzGerald, Hugh Gibbons, Nolan and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1968-69.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1968-69 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Agriculture and Fisheries.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. C. Nagle (Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries), Mr. S. FitzGerald (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.45 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 21st May, 1970.
