1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Barrett, Briscoe, FitzGerald, Hugh Gibbons, Mac Sharry and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1968-69.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1968-69 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Charitable Donations and Bequests and Public Works and Buildings.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. S. Martin (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. H. J. Mundow (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. A. O’Beirne (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.5 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 4th June, 1970.
