1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, Edward Collins, FitzGerald, Hugh Gibbons, Keating, Treacy and Tunney.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1968-69.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1968-69 was resumed. The following Account was begun:—Agriculture.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. C. Nagle (Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries), Mr. L. Ó Neill (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.30 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
