Thursday, 16th April, 1970.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputies Peter Barry, Briscoe, Edward Collins, Treacy and Tunney.

3. Election of Temporary Chairman.

Motion made (Deputy Peter Berry):

“That Deputy Treacy be the Chairman of the Committee for this meeting.”

Question put, and agreed to.

Deputy Treacy took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1968-69.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1968-69 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Lands, Forestry and Stationery Office.

5. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. T. O’Brien (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. B. Ó Brolcháin (Controller, Stationery Office), Mr. L. O’Neill (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

6. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.30 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
