Deputy Patrick Hogan (in the Chair), Deputies Barrett, Briscoe, R. Burke, E. Collins, FitzGerald, H. Gibbons, Keating, MacSharry, Nolan, Treacy and Tunney.

3. Mr. E. F. Suttle (Comptroller and Auditor General) was in attendance in an advisory capacity, accompanied by Mr. S. Mac Gearailt.

4. The Committee deliberated.

5. The Committee went into public session.

6. Witnesses examined.

Examination of Mr. William C. Walsh, accompanied by Mr. E. R. O’Connor, Solicitor, resumed.

7. Mr. Walsh withdrew.

8. Sitting suspended.

The sitting was suspended at 1.15 p.m. until 2.45 p.m. today.

9. The Committee met again at 2.45 p.m.

10. The Committee went into public session.

11. Witnesses examined.

Mr. H. T. Deacon, Munster and Leinster Bank was sworn and examined (accompanied by Mr. E. R. O’Connor, Solicitor).
