1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, Crowley, Gilhawley and Healy.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1967-68.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1967-68 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Transport and Power and Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. D. Ó Riordáin (Secretary, Department of Transport and Power), Mr. S. Réamonn, (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners). Mr. C. J. Byrnes and Mr. J. Whelan (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.15 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday next.
