The following members were present:— Deputy Patrick Hogan (South Tipperary) (in the Chair), Deputies Andrews, Briscoe, Patrick J. Burke, Patrick Byrne, Crowley, Healy, Molloy and Reynolds. 3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1966-67. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1966-67 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Industry and Commerce, External Affairs, International Cooperation, Defence and Army Pensions. 4. Witnesses Examined. Mr. J. C. B. MacCarthy (Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce), Mr. H. McCann (Secretary, Department of External Affairs), Mr. S. Ó Cearnaigh (Secretary, Department of Defence), Miss Máire Bhreathnach and Mr. J. R. Whitty (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined. 5. Adjournment. The Committee adjourned at 1.25 p.m. |
