THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 3 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Cosgrave (in the Chair), Deputies Seán Browne, Jones, O’Toole and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1958-59.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1958-59 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Posts and Telegraphs, Wireless Broadcasting, Lands, Forestry and Fisheries.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. L. Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Posts and Telegraphs), Mr. T. O’Brien (Secretary, Department of Lands), Miss M. A. Keily and Mr. P. S. MacGuill (Department of Finance) and the Secretary and Director of Audit were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.15 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday next.
