With reference to the query regarding the publications of the Irish Folklore Commission arising from the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee on 1st December, 1960, I wish to say that:

Publications of the Commission appear from time to time in “Béaloideas”, the journal of the Irish Folklore Society.

The Commission has also published “Studies in Irish and Scandinavian Folktales”. A further book, “Lughnasa”, is at present with the printers.

Works in preparation for printing are a volume on the folktales of Tuain in Clare, a compilation of folksongs from the Co. Cork area and stories of Éamonn a Búrc of Carna.

It is also hoped to publish as soon as possible a manuscript collection from Peg Sayers of Dunquin.
