BALLYCOTTON CO. CORK—BORING SURVEY.

During my examination before the Committee of Public Accounts on 17th April, 1958, I undertook to supply information concerning the boring survey at Ballycotton, Co. Cork. The County Council arranged to have the boring survey done by a firm of Contractors and the work which began in March, 1955 was completed in May, 1955. The information obtained by the borings was made available by the Contractors in July, 1955 to the Consulting Engineers of the County Council.
