NOTICE BOARDS AT CUSTOMS STATIONS

During my examination before the Committee of Public Accounts on 17th April, 1958, I undertook to supply information concerning notice boards at Customs Stations, with special reference to Muff and Swanlinbar. The Notice board at Swanlinbar was erected as part of the contract for the Office and Residence; all other notice boards, including that at Muff, were erected by the Commissioners of Public Works, at the request of the Revenue Commissioners, under a separate single contract. A notice board for Carrickarnon has yet to be provided.
