THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 2 p.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Carter (in the Chair), Deputies Bartley, J. Brennan, H. P. Dockrell, O’Hara and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1954-55.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1954-55 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Dundrum Asylum, Agriculture, Fisheries and Health.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Dr. W. J. Coyne (Governor, Dundrum Asylum), Mr. J. Dempsey (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Mr. P. Ó Cinnéide (Secretary, Department of Health), Mr. M. Breathnach (Department of Finance) and the Secretary and Director of Audit were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 4.15 p.m.
