1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputy Carter (in the Chair), Deputies A. Barry, Bartley, J. Brennan, Mrs. Crowley and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1953-54.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1953-54 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Stationery Office and Comptroller and Auditor-General.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. B. Carr (Controller, Stationery Office), Mr. C. O’Neill (Secretary, Office of the Comptroller and Auditor-General). Mr. M. Breathnach (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.45 p.m.
