THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 17ú Iúil, 1952.

Thursday, 17th July, 1952.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Sheldon (in the Chair), Deputies P. Brady, Mrs. Crowley, M. E. Dockrell, McGrath, D. O’Sullivan and Palmer.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1950-51.

Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1950-51 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of Public Works, Public Works and Buildings and Employment and Emergency Schemes.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. D. Ó hEigceartuigh (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. R. Corish (Director, Employment and Emergency Schemes), Mr. M. Breathnach and Mr. B. Ó Brolcháin (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.30 p.m. until Wednesday, 23rd July.
