THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 10th July, 1952.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Sheldon (in the Chair). Deputies P. Brady, Carter, J. J. Collins, Mrs. Crowley, McGrath, D. O’Sullivan and Palmer.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1950-51.

Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1950-51 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Industry and Commerce, Transport and Marine Services, Aviation and Meteorological Services and Industrial and Commercial Property Registration Office.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. Leydon (Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce), Miss M. Bhreathnach and Mr. S. F. Murray (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.15 p.m. until Thursday, 17th July.
