THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 12th April, 1951.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:

Deputy Derrig (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, J. J. Collins, Mrs. Crowley, Gilbride, Kitt, Pattison and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1948-49.

Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1948-49 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Agriculture, Agricultural Produce Subsidies and Fisheries.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Seán Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Mr. M. Breathnach and Mr. J. O’Donovan (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 19th April.
