IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.

THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 25ú Eanáir, 1950.

Wednesday, 25th January, 1950.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Derrig (in the Chair), Deputies J. J. Collins, Mrs, Crowley, Davern, Fitzpatrick, Gilbride. Kitt, M. O’Sullivan and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1947-48 was resumed. The following Account was disposed of: Industry and Commerce. The following Account was considered and adjourned: Aviation and Meteorological Services.

Ordered: That the Committee do adjourn from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

4. The Committee met again at 2 p.m.

5. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1947-48 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of: Aviation and Meteorological Services, Transport and Marine Services, Industrial and Commercial Property Registration Office, Repayment of Trade Loans Advances, Agriculture, Agricultural Produce Subsidies and Fisheries.

6. Mr. J. Leydon (Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce), Seán Ó Broin (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Miss Máire Bhreathnach, Mr. T. K. Whittaker and Mr. M. Breathnach (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 3.50 p.m. till Wednesday, 8th February, 1950.
