IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.Déardaoin, 24ú Samhain, 1949.Thursday, 24th November, 1949.1. The Committee met at 11 a.m. 2. Present: Deputy Derrig (in the Chair), Deputies Mrs. Crowley, Dockrell, Fitzpatrick, Gilbride, Kitt, M, O’Sullivan, Pattison and Sheldon. 3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1947-48 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Public Works and Buildings, Charitable Donations and Bequests, External Affairs and Employment and Emergency Schemes. 4. Mr. J. Connolly (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. J. S. Martin (Secretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. F. H. Boland (Secretary, Department of External Affairs), Mr. E. J. MacLaughlin (Director, Employment and Emergency Schemes), Mr. P. O’Kelly, and Mr. M. Breathnach (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor-General, were examined. 5. The Committee adjourned at 12.45 p.m. till Thursday, 1st December, 1949. |
