THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 16ú Meitheamh, 1948.

Wednesday, 16th June, 1948.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy MacEntee (in the Chair), Deputies Briscoe, Coburn, J. J. Collins, Gilbride, Kitt, Pattison and Sheldon.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1946-47 was resumed. The following Account was disposed of: Army.

The following Account was considered and adjourned: Army Pensions.

4. Lieutenant-General P. MacMahon (Secretary, Department of Defence), Mr. C. S. Almond (Department of Finance). and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. till Wednesday, 23rd June, 1948.
