1. The Joint Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Present: Ceann Comhairle (Chairman); Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Local Government and Public Health, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Public Health (Deputy Childers); Deputies Bartley, B. Brady, Dillon, Everett, McCarthy and D. Morrissey; and Senators Counihan, Duffy, Hayes, Hearne and Kingsmill Moore.

3. The Joint Committee deliberated.

4. The Joint Committee adjourned at 6 p.m. to Tuesday, 14th May, at 4.30 p.m.
