PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE

Tuesday, 14th May, 1946.

1. The Joint Committee met at 4.30 p.m.

2. Present: Ceann Comhairle (Chairman), Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Local Government and Public Health, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Local Government and Public Health (Deputy Childers); Deputies Bartley, B. Brady, Cogan and Everett; and Senators Duffy, Hearne, Kingsmill Moore and Quirke.

3. The Order of Seanad Éireann of 10th April, 1946, appointing Senator Quirke to the Joint Committee in place of Senator Magennis, deceased, was read.

4. The Joint Committee deliberated.

5. The Joint Committee adjourned at 6 p.m. to Tuesday, 28th May, at 4.30 p.m.
