THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 30ú Samhain, 1944.

Thursday, 30th November, 1944.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies B. Brady, S. Brady, Breslin, Briscoe, Cogan, Cosgrave, M. E. Dockrell, Gorry, Loughman and Pattison.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1942-43 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—External Affairs, League of Nations, Agriculture and Fisheries.

The following Account was considered and adjourned:—Agricultural Produce Subsidies.

4. Mr. J. P. Walshe (Secretary), (Department of External Affairs), Mr. D. Twomey (Secretary, Department of Agriculture), Mr. G. P. S. Hogan and Mr. L. M. Fitzgerald (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 2.40 p.m.
