IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.Dé Céadaoin, 25adh Bealtaine, 1938.Wednesday, 25th May, 1938.1. The Committee met at 11 a.m. 2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Beegan, Brasier, Cole, Corry, McMenamin, Smith and R. Walsh. 3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1936-37 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Local Government and Public Health, General Register Office, National Health Insurance, Widows’ and Orphans’ Pensions, Office of the Minister for Justice, Gárda Síochána, Prisons, District Court, Supreme Court and High Court of Justice, Land Registry and Registry of Deeds and Circuit Court. 4. Mr. J. Hurson (Secretary, Department of Local Government and Public Health), Mr. J. A. Duffy (National Health Insurance), Mr. S. A. Roche (Secretary, Department of Justice), J. M. McLaughlin (Accountant, Department of Justice), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond, Mr. D. P. Shanagher (Department of Finance), and Mr. J. Maher were examined. 5.
