THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 19th May, 1938.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Brasier, Cole, Corry, Heron, Linehan, McMenamin, D. O Briain, O’Reilly, Smith and R. Walsh.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1936-37 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of the Minister for Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Technical Instruction, Science and Art and Reformatory and Industrial Schools.

4. Mr. Seósamh O Néill (Secretary Department of Education), Mr. C. S. Almond and Mr. J. Maher were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 1.10 p.m. till Wednesday next.
