THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Thursday, 12th May, 1938.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. Present: Deputy Dillon (in the Chair), Deputies Beegan, Brasier, Cole, Corry, Heron, Linehan, McMenamin, D. O Briain, Smith and R. Walsh.


3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1936-37 was taken up. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of Public Works, Public Works and Buildings, Haulbowline Dockyard, Charitable Donations and Bequests, Valuation and Boundary Survey and Ordnance Survey.


4. Mr. J. Connolly (Chairman, Commissioners of Public Works), Mr. W. Smyth (Secretary, Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. J. Herlihy (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond (Department of Finance), and Mr. J. Maher (Exchequer and Audit Department) were examined.


5. The Committee adjourned at 12.45 p.m. till Thursday next.
