PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. Present: Deputy MacEoin (in the Chair), Deputies Beegan, T. Crowley, Goulding, Haslett, Keyes, McMenamin, O Briain and Smith.


3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1934-35 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:— Primary Education, Public Record Office, Office of the Revenue Commissioners, Old Age Pensions, Compensation Bounties, Dundrum Asylum, Charitable Donations and Bequests and National Gallery.


4. Mr. S. Preston (Department of Education), Mr. J. F. Morrissey (Public Record Office), Mr. W. O’Brien (Chairman, Revenue Commissioners), Dr. G. W. Scroope (Dundrum Asylum), Mr. W. Smyth (Secretary, Charitable Donations and Bequests), Dr. G. J. Furlong (Director, National Gallery), Mr. W. Doolin (Assistant Secretary, Department of Finance), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.


5. The Committee adjourned at 12.50 p.m. till Wednesday next.
