IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 27 Bealtaine, 1936.

Wednesday, 27 May, 1936.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputies Beegan, T. Crowley, Goulding, Harris, Haslett, McMenamin, O Briain and Smith.

3. Motion made (Deputy Smith):—

“That Deputy McMenamin be Chairman of this meeting of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy McMenamin took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1934-35 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Land Commission, Forestry, Industry and Commerce, Railways, Railway Tribunal, Marine Service, Unemployment Insurance and Unemployment Assistance, Industrial and Commercial Property Registration Office and Gaeltacht Services.

5. Mr. M. Deegan (Secretary, Department of Lands), Mr. T. R. Price (Department of Industry and Commerce), Mr. Seán Ua Móráin (Department of Lands), Mr. J. L. Lynd (Department of Finance), Mr. D. P. Shanagher (Department of Finance), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

6. The Committee adjourned at 1.15 p.m. till Wednesday next.
