PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Wednesday, 6 May, 1936.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputy MacEoin (in the Chair), Deputies Beegan, T. Crowley, Goulding, Harris, Haslett, McMenamin, O Briain and Smith.

3. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1934-35 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Local Government and Public Health, General Register Office, National Health Insurance, Stationery and Printing, Valuation and Boundary Survey, Ordnance Survey, External Affairs, and League of Nations.

4. Mr. E. P. McCarron (Secretary, Department of Local Government and Public Health), Mr. J. A. Duffy (National Health Insurance), Mr. S. B. O Faoilleacháin (Controller, Stationery Office), Mr. J. Herlihy (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. S. Murphy (Assistant-Secretary, Department of External Affairs), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg, Mr. C. S. Almond, Mr. O. J. Redmond (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

5. The Committee adjourned at 12.25 p.m. till Wednesday next.
