IMEACHTA AN CHOISTE.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE.

Dé Céadaoin, 29 Abrán, 1936.

Wednesday, 29 April, 1936.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Present: Deputies T. Crowley, Goulding, Keyes, MacEoin, O Briain and Smith.

3. Motion made (Deputy Smith):—

“That Deputy MacEóin be Chairman of the Committee.”

Question put and agreed to.

Deputy MacEoin took the Chair accordingly.

4. Consideration of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1934-35 was taken up. The following Accounts were disposed of:—Office of Public Works, Public Works and Buildings, Haulbowline Dockyard, Office of the Minister for Justice, Gárda Síochána, Prisons, District Court, Supreme Court and High Court of Justice, Land Registry and Registry of Deeds and Circuit Court.

5. Mr. P. Kent (Commissioner of Public Works), Mr. S. A. Roche (Secretary Department of Justice), Mr. T. S. C. Dagg (Department of Finance), Mr. C. S. Almond (Department of Finance), and the Comptroller and Auditor-General were examined.

6. The Committee adjourned at 1.25 p.m. till Wednesday next.
