PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

Déardaoin, 13adh Meitheamh, 1929.

Thursday, 13th June, 1929.

1. The Joint Committee met at noon.

2. Present: Senator Hooper (in the Chair); Deputies T. Hennessy, Lemass, T. J. O’Connell, O’Mahony, Smith and Thrift; Senators Mrs. Costello, Johnson, The McGillycuddy of the Reeks, Milroy, Colonel Moore and O’Hanlon.

3. The Ceann Comhairle attended the Joint Committee in response to their request for his opinion as to the feasibility of having deductions made from the allowances of Members of the Dáil for non-attendance.

4. The Joint Committee adjourned at 1.20 p.m. until Thursday next at 11 o’clock a.m.
