PROCEEDINGS OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

Friday, 18th December, 1925.

1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.


2. The following members were present:—Deputy Roddy (Chairman), Deputies Cooper, Wolfe, Mulvany, Johnson, Doherty, T. Hennessy and M. Conlan.


3. Deputy Cooper moved:—


“That one representative from each of the following bodies be invited to attend and give evidence before the Committee, viz., the Merchant Drapers’ Association, the Irish Drapers, outfitter and Boot Trades Association, the Irish Distributive Workers, the Department of Industry and Commerce and the Dublin Corporation. That a copy of the Bill be sent to each of the said bodies with a request that a précis of proposed evidence be submitted to the Committee on or before the 5th January, 1926.”


Question put and agreed to.


4. The Committee adjourned at 11.45 a.m. until 11 a.m. 12th January, 1926.
