Minutes of 17 December 2003

1.The Joint Committee met in public session in Committee Room R4, Leinster House 2000 at 10.12 a.m.

2.Attendance

The following Members were present:

Deputies Batt O’Keeffe (in the chair), Jerry Cowley and Fiona O’Malley.

Senators Geraldine Feeney, Frank Feighan, and Mary Henry.

In Public Session.

3.Election of Chairman.

Deputy Batt O’Keeffe was elected unanimously as Chairman of the sub-Committee on Alcohol Misuse by Young People and took the Chair. The sub-Committee then agreed to go into Private Session.

4.Work Programme of the Sub-Committee.

The following item was discussed in Private Session.

There being no other business, the Committee adjourned at 10.25 am sine die.
