1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy G. Mitchell (in the Chair), Deputies M. Ahern, Connor, Cullimore, Dennehy, Mac Gahon, Rabbitte and Taylor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1988.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1988 was resumed. The following Account was disposed of:—

Houses of the Oireachtas and the European Assembly.

Industry and Commerce.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. E. Rayel (Clerk of the Dáil), Mr. J. Donlon (Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1 p.m. until 11 a.m. 12th December, 1990.
