1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy G. Mitchell (in the Chair), Deputies Connor, Dennehy, Flood, Rabbitte and Taylor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1988.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1987 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Charitable Donations and Bequests, Energy.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Ms. A. Doris (Seretary, Commissioners of Charitable Donations and Bequests), Mr. J. Loughrey (Secretary, Department of Energy), Mr. C. Gallagher and Mr. R. Carey (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.30 p.m. until 11 a.m. 26 July, 1990.
