The following members were present:—

Deputy G. Mitchell (in the Chair), Deputies M. Ahern, Allen, Connor, Cullimore, Dennehy, Flood, Rabbitte and Taylor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1988.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1988 was resumed. The following Account was disposed of:—

Forestry.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. J. Loughrey (Secretary, Department of Energy) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 12.40 p.m. until 11 a.m. 25th October, 1990.
