1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present:—

The following members were present:—

Deputy G. Mitchell (in the Chair), Deputies M. Ahern, Allen, Connor, Cullimore, Dennehy, Flood and Taylor.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts, 1988.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1988 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Valuation and Ordnance Survey, the National Gallery, Department of the Marine.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. T. P. O’Connor (Commissioner of Valuation), Mr. R. Keaveney (Director, National Gallery), Mr. F. O Muircheartaigh (Secretary, Department of the Marine) Mr. N. McSweeney (Department of Finance) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned at 1.25 p.m. until 11 a.m. on 8th February, 1990.
