THE SURVEY FORM

To every Member of Dáil Éireann and of Seanad Éireann

To assist it in its work regarding Irish in the Houses in the Oireachtas, the Joint Committee on the Irish Language proposes to conduct a brief survey amongst the Members of both Houses. This will be a confidential survey and you need not disclose your name.

A copy of the survey is attached and I would be obliged if you would fill it in and return it to me or to the Clerk to the Joint Committee within a fortnight please. It will not take long to complete the survey and it is very important that every Member does so to ensure that the Joint Committee has accurate information.

I appreciate your co-operation in this matter and myself and the Joint Committee hope that the work will have a worthwhile outcome.
