Public Relations and Consultancy Fees

512. Mr. V. Brady asked the Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism the total amount paid by his Department for the year 1984 in respect of public relations and consultancy fees, indicating the name of the public relations or consultancy company to which such fees were paid.


Minister for Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism (Mr. J. Bruton): A total of £323,359 was spent by my Department in 1984 on consultancy fees; there was no expenditure in respect of public relations consultants.


The amount of £323,359 was expended on a variety of projects, undertaken by the following consultants.
