3. Draft of First Annual Report of the Joint Committee — 1985/86.

Consideration of Draft Report.

The Chairman brought forward a Draft Report which was read as follows:—

4. Paragraphs 1 to 3, inclusive, agreed to.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned consideration of the Draft Report.

6. Taking of evidence.

The Committee took evidence from:—

Dr. Garret Fitzgerald, T.D., An Taoiseach; and Paddy O’Toole Esq. T.D., Minister for the Gaeltacht.

7. Consideration of Draft Report—— resumption.

8. Paragraphs 4 and 5 agreed to and the Draft Report agreed to.

9. Ordered: To report to the Dáil and Seanad accordingly.

10. Conclusion of Business.

The Committee concluded its business at 5.30 p.m.
