Letter dated 25 March, 1986 from the Minister for Justice to the Chairman of the Select CommitteeAPPENDIX Y25 March, 1986. Dear Dr. Woods, Thank you for your letter of 20 March asking if I could, on or before Wednesday, have a private meeting with yourself, as Chairman of the Select Committee on Crime, Lawlessness and Vandalism, and the Vice-Chairman. I am afraid, however, that it is quite impossible for me to meet you within that time. I take it from what you say about the Vice-Chairman being out of the country for a few weeks that the question of a meeting is therefore postponed for some weeks. In the meantime, I may decide to send you some comments in writing on some of the points mentioned in your letter. Yours sincerely, Alan M. Dukes T.D., AIRE DLI AGUS CIRT Dr. Michael Woods T.D., Chairman, Select Committee on Crime, Lawlessness and Vandalism. |
