1. The Committee met at 11 a.m.

2. Members Present.

The following members were present:—

Deputy Timmins (in the Chair), Deputies Filgate, Kenneally and Leyden.

3. Consideration of Appropriation Accounts 1979.

Consideration of Appropriation Accounts for the year 1979 was resumed. The following Accounts were disposed of:—

Social Welfare, Health, Office of the Minister for the Public Service, Superannuation and Retired Allowances, Remuneration, Labour.

4. Witnesses Examined.

Mr. C. Collins (Secretary, Department of Social Welfare), Dr. B. Hensey (Secretary, Department of Health) Mr. S. Mac Gamhna (Secretary, Department of the Public Service), Mr. T. Ó Cearbhaill (Secretary, Department of Labour) and the Comptroller and Auditor General were examined.

5. Adjournment.

The Committee adjourned until 11 a.m. on Thursday, 9th April, 1981.
