LETTER TO CLERK TO JOINT COMMITTEE FROM NORTH WESTERN HEALTH BOARD

I regret delay in replying to your letter of 1st penultimo in above connection.

I would appreciate if consideration were given to the following considerations:—

(1)Policy of paying accounts in respect of Hospital Services directly to V.H.I. members should be reviewed with a view to making payments directly to Health Board.

(2)A master list showing persons who are members of V.H.I. in the Board’s area should be made available to Health Boards.

In addition to the foregoing our Board members expressed satisfaction with the services being provided with V.H.I. but considered the subscriptions expensive.
